Yikes. What the f*** is this mess?
Maybe I will get use to it. Maybe it is still a work in progress? I don't know but I really don't appreciate the layout.
I hear there is a lot of hate. Think the staff will listen?
Anyway I hope you are all keeping safe during these difficult times.
Another character thingy. This time I was tagged by yes I remembered this time.
1) Chenza and his brother Imara are born during the brief reign of Umbusi and Umqhakazo, just before Mohatu's ascension.
2) He never knew his father. Never knew how close his sire came to taking the throne from his Uncle. Or the reason for his mother's apparent detachment from her cubs, or tendency to burst into tears for no real reason.
3) he is "the strongest" of Uru's Guard. He and his brother train under King Mohatu himself, and once they are grown, are tasked with selecting and training the next chosen few to become the next Guard. Chenza may not particularly like Queen Uru, or her slimy consort, but he did greatly respect her father Mohatu and so remains loyal (contemplating making him the same as the Strongest from Taka's Guard seen in TLG, seeing as they look very similar)
4) Chenza and Imara are present the day Uru confronts Ahadi over the issue concerning the paternity of Winda's cubs. They are there to defend the Queen should things turn violent but it turns out they weren't needed - Uru's rage for her consort is explosive and even the normally dour Chenza is mildly impressed.
5) having competed with Imara over Zalira's affections and losing, Chenza is humiliated. Imara certainly lived up to his title as "The Bravest" by challenging "The Strongest", but with Chenza having lost that particular fight, he felt that wasnt really worthy of that title anymore. With Imara later leaving to live with his mate and daughters in the Nyasi Pride, Taka being a complete mummy's boy and Uru obsessing over him and not allowing him out of her sight for more than 3 seconds, let alone allowing him to attend Chenza's lessons "in case her widdle snookums got a boo-boo" Chenza pretty much stopped caring about the Guard at this point. The Queen was clearly insane, so why bother.
6) Chenza stayed on with the Ndona as Guard for a while longer, pretty much with a "whatever" attitude. Watching as the Queen continue to fester, rarely seen, as her husband did all the work she should be doing and as Taka grew into a snotty spoilt brat. The male cubs Chenza was in charge of training grew up, lost interest in the Guard, and left. A couple were even killed by hyenas, which lately seemed to be increasing in number thanks to the decline of the Guard and Chenza's lack of motivation.
7) as he grows older Chenza becomes less bitter as far as Imara is concerned. He wonders how his brother's life turned out, and regrets that they threw away their once good relationship over a lioness. Chenza has become unhappy in the Ndona Pride, and so he leaves it not long into Mufasa's reign, to seek out his brother and find closure.
8) By now Chenza is well past his prime, but he ends up living in the small Oasisi Pride, with a mate and three cubs, neighbours and allies to the very pride Imara joined. Chenza and Imara reconcile, and spend the rest of their days in happy, quiet retirement.
